Strictly for the Birds Expands!

Strictly for the Birds at 123 F Street, Old Town Eureka is hosting a ribbon-cutting and grand re-opening on Friday, May 17th. Louise Bacon-Ogden, owner and active Audubon member, is the hostess.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon. Charlotte Mc Donald of Eureka Main Street will do the honors. The new space now occupied by Strictly for the Birds was formerly the location of the Main Street office. This addition doubles the present space. At 6:00 p.m. the re-opening party will begin. Everyone is invited. Staff will be present to welcome guests. Refreshments will be served. Come share in the merriment!

Next Board and Conservation Committee Meetings

The next Redwood Region Audubon Society Board meeting will be held May 2, 2002 at the Redwood Sciences Lab, Arcata CA. The next Conservation Committee meeting will be on May 17, 2002, at the Golden Harvest Cafe in Arcata.

Both meetings are open to members and the general public.
