The 3rd edition of RRAS’ Common Birds of Northwest California by local birder Kenneth Burton and photographer Leslie Anderson is now available!

This acclaimed book introduces readers to the 164 most-reported birds in Del Norte, Humboldt, and Trinity Counties, with a full page dedicated to each species.
Each species account includes the bird’s classification, size, seasonal status, and habitat preferences; three paragraphs of text describing its nomenclature, ecology, and identification; and stunning photos of different poses and plumages. 

Proceeds from sales of the book will benefit RRAS’ conservation and education program.
