Many thanks to the following who shared their observations for this month's report:

R.J. Adams, Andy Alm, Louise Bacon-Ogden, Alan Barron, Bob Botley, Chuck Buechele, Bryon Cariss, Mark Colwell, Anthony Desch, Fritz Durer (sp?), Todd Easterle, Elias Elias, Sam Fitton, David Fix, John Gaffin, Dan Garrison, Joe Gartland, Sam Giannandrea (my apologies for misspelling your name last time, Sam), Stan Harris, Gjon Hazard, Pablo Herrera (sp?); Matt Hinton, John Hunter, Ken Irwin, Robert Keiffer, David Kitchen, Don Kudrna, Tom Leskiw, Gary and Lauren Lester, Ron LeValley, Sean McAllister, Michael Morris, Kristie Nelson, Chet Ogan, Gloria and Bob Privette, Jude Power, Greg Schmidt, Doug Shaw, Dorothy Tobkin, Margaret Varga, Catharine Walling, Bud Widdowson, Matt Wachs.

Errata:

Tom Leskiw called to tell me the owl reported last month as a Short-eared from near Honeydew actually was a Long-eared Owl! Also, last month's report of the Red-naped Sapsucker should have carried John Hunter's initials as the original finder. Paul Springer called to report additional summer records from Shower's Pass road for Lawrence's Goldfinches. Anyone interested in details should contact either Paul or me. I have much trouble deciphering the mumbles on the bird box tape, especially in getting your names correctly spelled, so if I fracture the spelling of your name, I'd greatly appreciate a call

Please call future reports to the Arcata Bird Box (822-5666), to me at 822-3802, or send them to me at 1595 Charles Ct., Arcata, 95521.
