About the Redwood Region Audubon Society

Welcome to the Redwood Region Audubon Society Webpage!

The Redwood Region Audubon Society (RRAS) was founded in 1969 and is the Northwest California chapter of the National Audubon Society. This energetic community of conservation-minded people is active in many ways. Redwood Region Audubon is a volunteer, non-profit organization with approximately 550 members. The chapter relies on the energy and commitment of its members to keep Redwood Region Audubon Society a strong and effective local conservation organization. Please click here for more information about our chapter.

Sandpiper Newsletters
The Redwood Region Audubon Society publishes the newsletter "Sandpiper" every month from September to May, with the occasional summer issue.  We report on current and upcoming events in the chapter, including our monthly meetings, field trips, bird sightings, environmental issues, and some great natural history articles.  We hope you will enjoy reading our newsletters.

Keep Up to Date via RRAS Listserv. Be reminded about field trips and programs and learn about upcoming meetings, public hearings, and symposia of interest to RRAS members and other concerned nature lovers. Subscribe in one of two ways: 1) through a Webpage at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rras  or 2) via e-mail at rras-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Postings should have complete information. This Listserv is not for posting bird sightings.
