President’s Column

Well it's summer again.  And it's time for another summer hiatus.  Certain facets of this chapter will continue to be bright and vibrant for the next couple months.  But the Board of Director's will take a break.  Upon resuming in August, we will adopt a new budget for the 2002-2003 fiscal year.  Now is the time to lobby your board members.  We are just a phone call away.  Chet reminded me that the City of Eureka is hosting a Eureka Creeks Fair  It will be held at Cooper Gulch on May 11 from 8 to 16.  There will be workshops and displays and the purpose is to make folks aware of creeks in Eureka.
